Introduction: AIDS is termed as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. It is a type of viral disease, caused due to the infection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). AIDS gets transmitted from an infected person to a healthy person when the healthy person comes in direct contact with infected blood, semen, or vaginal secretions.

Introduction: Viruses cause infectious diseases such as flu, warts, Ebola, smallpox, and HIV/AIDS. Viruses can be transmitted to humans through contaminated food, close contact with an infected person, and other similar routes.
