Chapter 37, Problem 11TYK
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Nutrients are substances that are used by organisms for energy, development, and perform various bodily functions. Nutrients are classified into two types, namely macronutrients and micronutrients. Plants need both macronutrients, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorous, and magnesium, and micronutrients, zinc, copper, and iron, for normal growth. If these essential nutrients are inadequate, which may result in plant disease, like leaf discoloration and stunted growth.
