The difference between the urethra and semen and explain how they are related to each other.
Introduction:
The urethra and semen are parts of the body. Both have a special function in the human body. The urethra is a duct whereas semen is a seminal fluid that is present in the reproductive system.
Explanation of Solution
The urethra is a tube that transfers urine from the bladder during urination to the outside of the body. The urethra is protected by the urethral sphincter, which remains urine in the bladder until it can become empty.
Whereas Semen is a white-grey body substance secreted by the male gonads. It has sperm or spermatozoa, fructose, and other enzymes that enable the sperm to live and make the fertilization successful. Both urethra and semen are related to each other as the urethra carries away semen and urine from the body through the penis and both are the parts of the reproductive system.
Thus, the urethra and semen are related to each other.
