Introduction:

Childbirth is the stage where the fetus is finally delivered from the mother’s womb. This is the last stage of pregnancy.

Explanation of Solution

The dilation stage is that stage where the cervix is extended and opened up to around 10 cm to allow the fetus or baby to pass through.

Whereas the stage of expulsion is the stage in which uterine contractions drive the baby through the cervix and down the canal of birth, which ends with the infant.

The dilation and expulsion are related to each other as the stage of expulsion starts when the cervix has been fully dilated that is10 cm across and both occurs in the female reproductive system.
