Introduction:
Testes and ovaries are the parts of the reproductive system of males and females. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing hormone (LH) plays specific functions in the reproductive system of both male and female. Both are very important for reproduction.

Explanation of Solution
LH causes the production of testosterone from the interstitial cells of the testes. Testosterone is important for making sperm. FSH promotes testes’ development and increases the development of the Sertoli cell's androgen-binding protein as a component of the testicles required for the maintenance of sperm mature cells. FSH stimulates sperm production.
Whereas Cycle day one is the first day of menstruation where estrogen is at low concentrations. The ovarian follicle is activated by FSH and the egg develops. The release of estrogen is also activated in the follicle. The increase in estrogen is forcing the pituitary to stop growing FSH and continue to create further LH. The transition to LH allows the egg, a mechanism called ovulation, to be released from the ovary. These hormones induce the development of multiple follicles of the ovaries where each contains one egg.
Thus, these are the actions of FSH and LH in the ovaries and testes.
