Chapter 35, Problem 7TYK
Summary Introduction
Introduction: Meristem is a cell region, which has the ability for growth and division of plants. Generally, the meristem in plants is categorized based on their location. It includes lateral, apical, and intercalary meristems. The primary body of the plant is provided by the apical meristem and it also called as primary meristem. The secondary meristem is otherwise called as lateral meristem, which is accountable for secondary growth.
