Introduction:
Stem supports the leaves and transports the water and nutrients in all parts of the plant. The main function of the leaves is to use sunlight to produce water and sugar by the process of photosynthesis. Roots support the plant as well as transport the water and nutrients from the soil to different parts of the plant.
