Concept introduction:

Enzymes are those biomolecules that are regarded as catalysts of living organisms. They are made up of proteins. They are regarded as biocatalysts due to the fact that they catalyze biological reactions in a similar way just like catalysts catalyze the reactions of inorganic compounds. They are present in all types of organisms whether they may be highly evolved humans and plants or they may be as small as microbes.
