Introduction:

Negative feedback occurs when the end product of an enzyme interferes or decreases the effect of the same enzyme that produced it. The feedback inhibition mechanism is the cellular process in which the end product of an enzyme inhibits the production of the same enzyme that produced it. By this process there is the maintenance of the amount of enzyme required. Both processes help in the regulation of the metabolic processes.
