Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The ear is one of the five sensory organs present in the body. The organ of Corti is situated between the vestibular duct and tympanic duct situated in the scala media of the cochlea that is present inside the inner ear. It is made up of mechanosensory cells that are also known as the hair cells. The sensory information about body orientation, motion and equilibrium are provided by the vestibular apparatus.
