Program Plan Intro

Project manager:

• Project manager monitors the status of the project after it begins performing the tasks.
• He/she is responsible for planning, executing, and completing the project.
• Project managers help in determining the risk factors due to which the project is falling behind the schedule.
• He/she determines the user’s needs and performs the tasks accordingly.

Project planning:

• Project planning phase defines the activities of the project and explains how the activities are accomplished.
• Project planning includes all the data regarding the project with clear definitions of the objectives involved in the project.
• This phase performs the following activities:
  • Identifying the work by work breakdown structure.
  • Documenting project estimates.
  • Identifying project assumption and constraints.
