Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Ribosomes are ribonucleoprotein particles found in all living cells. Ribosomes are actively involved in assembly of protein synthesis. Ribosomes are found in the cytoplasm or attached to the endoplasmic reticulum. There are two types of ribosomes. They are the 70s and 80s. Ribosomes are found 'free' in the cytoplasm or bound to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to form rough ER.
