Introduction:
In eukaryotes cells, the ribosome also resides in the cytoplasm that actively participates in protein synthesis. In the synthesis of large volumes of proteins, need a large ER network. Therefore, there are two kinds of the endoplasmic reticulum(ER) −smooth and rough endoplasmic reticulum. The outer surface of the rough ER is covered with the ribosome, while the smooth endoplasmic reticulum lacks any types of the ribosome.
