Explanation of Solution
Materials are classified as amorphous and crystalline materials. This categorization is on the basis of arrangement of constituent particles.
An organized or structured configurated arrangement of atoms or molecules are known as crystalline materials. Crystalline material has highly organized unit cells and these unit cells have definite arrangement of atoms. Unit cell is the basic unit of the crystals. Simple cubic, tetragonal, monoclinic are some of examples of unit cells in crystal.
Examples of crystalline materials are snowflake and diamond.
