Explanation of Solution

A product development process is a total process involved making a service or a product from the conception stage to the delivery of the product to the market. The process contains a series of stages a product undergoes in the development stage.

The products that are developed using “technology-push” will be narrowly focused on phase 0 and phase 1 of marketing. The focus will be only narrower because the product developer will only look at the market segment that can gain some benefits from the application of the technology.

The generic process might be less complicated as it is possible that the technology of the current products is already available in the manufacturing facilities.
