Factors mediating the relationship between Information Technology and Organizations:

• Organizations and information systems have a mutual influence over one another.
• The business requirements of an organization need to be understood and the information systems needs to be designed accordingly.
• At the same, the organization should accept the influence of the information system and accept the change it provides by introducing to newer technologies.
• The decisions made in selection of information system factors in the culture, the organizational environment, culture, and the operating procedures.
• The interaction between the two is thus complex and the variables do impact the relationship to varying degrees.

• Organizations are legal and social entities that has invested economically in its products and services.
