To describe:
Two ways to increase the nitrogen in soil.
Introduction:
The soil plays an important role in the growth of the plant. The plants acquire their nutrient from the soil, hence, the availability of nutrients in the soil is important for the health of the plant.
Explanation of Solution
The nitrogen is an important factor for the growth of the plant. In order to increase the nitrogen content in the soil, there is a need of addition of the nitrogen, whether it is through the fixation from atmosphere or addition of other nitrogen rich substances.
Two main ways to increase the soil nitrogen level are:
- Adding nitrogen rich manure.
- Planting plants that can fix nitrogen content in the soil such as beans or a green manure crop, such as borage.
