Chapter 26.1, Problem 2MC
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The similarities and differences among the three main types of skeletons.
Introduction:
Skeleton is a hard structure that protects the internal organs of a living organism. Skeletons can be inside the body or outside the body. In mammals, the skeleton is made up of bones. All the bones, when they are joined together, make the "skeletal system" of a body. Skeleton system is divided into three main parts-hydrostatic skeleton, endoskeleton, and exoskeleton.
