Introduction:
There are various electrolytes and nonelectrolytes in different fluids of the body. Electrolytes are charged molecules that are maintained in balance through homeostasis. These salts dissociate into ions in presence of water and are important to control fluid movement. Some of the major ions in our fluids are sodium ion (Cl–), potassium ion (K+), and calcium ion (Ca+2).
