Introduction:
MHC (Major histocompatibility complex) is an assembly of genes that encodes for the surface proteins that are important for the acquired immune system to identify the foreign particle that in turn determines the histocompatibility. They display the antigen on the surface and make it available for the T cells (Thymic lymphocyte) for interaction. These are present on the surface of platelets and nucleated cells but absent on RBCs (Red blood cells). These MHC proteins are present in most of the higher vertebrates.
