Summary Introduction
To explain: The way by which the proteins constrain its DNA to allow supercoiling during single-stranded nicking.
Concept introduction: Different types of DNA structures depend on the cell type. They include - closed circular, nicked circular and linear DNA. In closed circular DNA, the linear form of DNA is ligated using enzyme called as ligase, whereas the nicked DNA is an open circular DNA, which has a nick in it. Bacterial chromosome structure is composed of compact DNA structure that is supercoiled to form an intact structure. Over-winding or under-winding of strands gives DNA supercoils. However, a nick in the strand closes down the supercoiled structure of the DNA.

I have a literature B-Carotene HPLC graph in which showcases a retention time of roughly 23.6 and 25.1.
Please help me compare my two different Anti-Oxidant Juice graphs. (Attached)
The juices provided are: V8 Carrot Ginger Blend and V8 Original Blend
Noticing the HPLC graphs I saw no peaks for the Original Blend for B-Carotene.
However the Carrot Ginger Blend showed similar peaks --> Why is this reason?
Please explain in terms of Retention time and Area (Under Curve).
