Concept introduction: Horseshoe crab belongs to Phylum: Arthropod. They are normally found around shallow ocean waters. Horseshoe crabs are living fossils. Though the horseshoe crabs look like crustaceans, they are marine arachnids. The control horse shoe crabs are those, whose blood was not extracted and the experimental horseshoe crabs are those, whose blood was extracted.
