To determine:
What are the three experiments that can be conducted on the behavioral aspects of Drosophila when the title of the project is “Drosophila Behavior and Gene Expression in Microgravity”. How to justify the expenses of this project in terms of improving human health and how to assay the changes in the gene expression in response to microgravity.
Introduction:
Drosophila melanogaster is a fly. It is commonly known as the fruit fly. This fly is usually used in research because it contains only four pairs of chromosomes, easily reared in the labs. Also this fly breeds quickly furthermore it lay numerous eggs. Some of the experiments conducted in space using this fly have shown that adult flies modify their motile behavior in microgravity.
