The electron configuration is the distribution of electrons of an atom or molecule in atomic or molecular orbitals by following certain rules like first the electrons starts filling from lower to the higher energy levels, pairing of electrons does not occur until all the orbitals in degenerate levels are singly filled and no two electrons in orbital can have same set of quantum numbers.
