Concept introduction: Turmeric is an Indian spice which is very frequently used all over the India. The compound curcumin is a medicinal compound which is extracted from turmeric. It has anticancerous properties. It is also used in the treatment of cystic fibrosis.
Isomers are the chemical compounds which have the identical chemical formula but different structures. Stereoisomers are the isomers which differ only in the three-dimensional arrangement of the same molecule.
