Introduction:

Ions are electrically charged atom or their group, that arises through the gain or loss electrons. Positive ions are termed as “cation” while negative ions are termed as “anion”. The ionic bonding occurs between anion and cations, leads to the formation of salts. When anions and cations of salts dissociate with one another, they become hydrated and are called as “electrolytes”.
