Introduction:
The adrenergic receptors belong to the class of G-protein coupled receptors that are present in the plasma membrane. Catecholamines such as norepinephrine and epinephrine target these adrenergic receptors. These receptors are of two types namely- the alpha and the beta-adrenergic receptors.
