1. The different mechanisms that are responsible for the insufficient amount of drug reaching into general circulation.

2. The reason behind more efficiency of a drug delivered through skin patch or nasal spary than oral administration.

Introduction:

D rug is a substance that is used in the treatment of diseases. The drugs can be employed in diagnosis, treatment as well as prevention from a disease. The drugs can be administered orally, through skin patch or intravenously. These different methods cause varying effects in the body as the efficiency of the drug depends upon the method of administration.

Molecular Biology Question You are working to characterize a novel protein in mice. Analysis shows that high levels of the primary transcript that codes for this protein are found in tissue from the brain, muscle, liver, and pancreas. However, an antibody that recognizes the C-terminal portion of the protein indicates that the protein is present in brain, muscle, and liver, but not in the pancreas. What is the most likely explanation for this result?
Molecular Biology Explain/discuss how “slow stop” and “quick/fast stop” mutants wereused to identify different protein involved in DNA replication in E. coli.
