The pancreas acts as both endocrine as well as exocrine gland. Insulin and glucagon are its hormonal secretions while bile acid and bile pigment are the secretions from the exocrine part. The pancreatic juice consists of various types of enzymes such as trypsinogen, carboxypeptidase and so on.
