Introduction:
Halogens are the group-17 elements. These are seven in number-fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, astatine, and Tennessee. Halogens are highly reactive; therefore, free halogen atoms do not occur in nature.
Halogen gases are colored gases.Therefore, if any gas is a colored gas then definitely it is halogen. In the halogen family, there are only two halogens which are gases- chlorine and fluorine. Halogens also formsodium salt by gaining the electron form the metal.
Conclusion:
Halogen gases are colored gases and therefore, if any gas is a colored gas then definitely it is halogen.
