What is the periodic table of the elements?

To explain: Periodic table of elements.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
There are many elements present in the universe. At present there are 118 well known elements.
Different elements have different properties, both physically and chemically. These elements are so important in human life.
These elements are arranged in periodic table in a certain manner to find some similarities.
Periodic Table:
It is an arrangement of discovered elements in a tabular form. The elements are arranged in similar form of physical and chemical properties.
It makes easier to relate different elements and easy to use as a reference.
The horizontal rows are periods and the vertical columns are groups.
There are 18 groups and 7 periods in a periodic table.
