Introduction:
Referred pain is a form of pain reception. This occurs when the pain associated with any organ anomaly does not originate from the related organ. Instead, the pain stimulus is perceived by the receptors present in the skin or skeletal muscle. As a result, the pain is felt through pain in the skeletal muscle of any part of the body.
