When an individual sees an object, then the processes are totally dependent on the distance of placing that object. If an object is placed closer than 20 feet, then the light rays will enter into the eyes in diverse form. The eye goes through some changes when an object is closer: Convergence of the eye, Accommodation of the lens, and Constriction of the pupil.
