Interpretation:

Which spectroscopy, ${}^{\text{1}}\text{H}$ NMR or ${}^{\text{13}}\text{C}$ NMR, would be more suitable for distinguishing among given compounds A, B, and C is to be explained.

Concept introduction:

Each chemically distinct type of hydrogen atom in a molecule gives rise to an independent signal in a proton NMR spectrum. In a ${}^{\text{1}}\text{H}$ NMR spectrum, integration is proportional to the number of protons giving rise to that signal. Every chemically distinct carbon atom produces one ${}^{\text{13}}\text{C}$ NMR signal.
