Agranulocyte is a type of leukocyte that possesses one-lobed nuclei. It is a type of white blood cell that is characterized by the absence of granules in the cytoplasm. This property of agranulocytes distinguishes it from granulocytes. There are two types of agranulocytes found in the blood circulation, namely monocytes and lymphocytes.
