Managers at lower levels may not need to have an understanding of much depth on the aspects pertaining to the whole of the corporate. In this relation, it is also important to know the depth of the understanding to be held by each manager.

In managing organizations within the day, it is important for managers to have a good understanding of the behavioral patterns of the organization. Managers at various levels along the organizational hierarchy are expected to know the behaviors pertaining to their managerial capacity. A manager at a lower level may not have the ability to understand the behaviors applicable at corporate level. However, top managers need to have an overall idea of the above, as they are the ones steering the organization ahead. Top managers would anyway have an overall understanding of organizational behavior as they have come along the managerial hierarchy, understanding and managing behaviors at various levels.
