Solution:

Kitchen can be warmed by leaving the oven door open in winters, but it cannot be cooled by leaving the refrigerator door open in summers.

Explanation of Solution

It can be possible to warm the kitchen by leaving the oven door open in winters because oven radiates the heat energy and if the door is open it will be heating a bigger volume. By some extent the oven with door open will warm the kitchen in winters.

For cooling the kitchen in summers,leaving the refrigerator door open is not a good idea. This will not cool the kitchen because the refrigerator exhausts more heat than usual, so the kitchen will get warmer by the work done by refrigerator compressor.
