The two different methods used for heat loss by the body.

Introduction:

When the food is oxidized, some of the energy is used for ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production and the rest is dissipated as heat by the body. This heat is used to maintain body temperature. Two heat loss mechanisms used by living body, which includes heat loss by radiation and heat loss by perspiration. Both these mechanisms are under the control of the hypothalamus in the brain.
