Concept explainers
To describe: Image formed by a lens or a mirror is a real or a virtual image.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
A lens is a piece of device that is transparent and is made of either glass or plastic and mirrors are curved surface that reflects ray.
When a ray converges real image is formed and the formation of virtual image occurs where a ray diverges. Concave mirrors and converging lens produces real images if the object is places further away from the mirror or lens than the focal length.
Conclusion:
The image formed is real and virtual.
