Evaporation of alcohol can be explained based on intermolecular forces as well as many factors are responsible for the evaporation of the alcohol.
The molecules of the alcohol escape easily than the water molecules. On the other account of information, intermolecular forces or the force of attraction are much weak in alcohol molecules as a comparison of the water molecules. Because of the weak force, the molecules of the alcohol are not tightly bound with each other. So, they are free to move that’s why they easily evaporate.
Conclusion:
Therefore, it can be concluded that with a strong force of attraction the molecules of the liquid are not evaporated easily. If the attraction is more among the molecules means molecules are not free to move easily. If force is small among the molecules, they easy to move freely.
