Therefore $l=2b$ .

Recall that area of rectangle $=l*b$ where $l$ is the length and $b$ is the width of the rectangle.

Therefore $200=2b*b\Rightarrow 200=2b^2\Rightarrow b^2=100\Rightarrow b=\pm 10.$

The width of a rectangle $+10$ because the width cannot be negative.

Since $l=2b$ therefore $l=2*10=20$ .

Therefore the length of a rectangle is $20cm$ and the width of a rectangle is $10cm$ .
