Question
Chapter 12.5, Problem 14WDYL
Summary Introduction
To explain:
The two primary factors that determine the effectiveness of PNS axon regeneration.
Concept introduction:
An axon of a neuron has a small swelling at their end, which is called an axon terminal. The regeneration of axon follows the sequential series of events which occurs after an injury to peripheral nerve or axon. Axon degeneration results in the damage of axon and myelin sheath at the site of injury.
