Introduction:
The ability of insects to resist the effect of an insecticide to which they were once sensitive is called insecticidal resistance. Resistance can be developed by many factors. Few individuals in the population of insects may carry the genes for resistance. Upon exposure to insecticides, the insects carrying the resistant genes are favored by nature and outbreed the insects that do not carry resistant genes.
