Introduction: The state where the blood pressure in the arteries is persistently elevated is called as high blood pressure or hypertension. The two classifications of high blood pressure are primary hypertension and secondary hypertension. Primary hypertension is the most common type of hypertension. It is also called essential hypertension or idiopathic hypertension.
