Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The percentage difference of the fundamental vibrational numbers of ${}^{\text{1}}{\text{H}}^{\text{35}}\text{Cl}$ and ${}^{\text{2}}{\text{H}}^{\text{37}}\text{Cl}$ has to be determined.

Concept introduction:

An electronic state of energy has its own vibrational states.  The energy between the electronic states is large followed by vibrational states and then rotational states.  During a vibrational transition, electron from ground state moves straight to the excited state.
