Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The integrated absorption coefficients of the transition assuming symmetrical triangular lineshape has to be estimated.

Concept introduction:

The relation between the absorbance of a substance with its concentration and path length is given by Beer-lambert law.  It states that the transmitted intensity $I$ varies with the length $L$ of the sample and the molar concentration $\left[\text{J}\right]$ of the sample.

The beer-lambert law is shown below.
