Chapter 11, Problem 10SQ
Summary Introduction
Concept introduction: Cell division consists of steps that lead to the creation of another cell. In plants, a new cell wall forms inside the dividing cell that invaginates outward to form two cells. The assembly of a new cell wall is is achieved with the help of vesicles from golgi bodies filled with cellulose and lignin, that eventually fuse together to create a new cell wall, and the parent cell splits into two. The process is called cytokinesis.
