How do you find the value of a resistance R1, in a circuit when the equivalent resistance is 40 ohms, given that:
R2 = 12 ohm in series with R3 = 40 ohms whom combined are in parallel with R4 = 20 ohms, all in parallel to R1.
And to find the current in each resistor, do I just apply the equation, I = V/R, given that the circuit runs on an 28 volt batt.
