For twenty-four 5 mg Diphenhydramine Lozenges:
* Diphenhydramine HCI
* Acacia Powder
* Slica gel
* Aspartame
* Flavor
* PEG 1450 MW

Compounding Procedure:
V Polyethylene Glycol, PEG 1450: Base or the matrix:
v Acacia (Gum acacia, Ĝum Arabic etc.): adds texture
and smoothness to the troche and Suspending agent
V Silica powder. Suspending agent
V Aspartame: Sweetener
v Flavor and Color
1. Atturataly weighimaasure al ingyudents
2. Triturate and mix the diphenhydramine HCl with the aspartame, sica gel, and acacia powder in a
mortar. Use your concept of geometric dilubion for uniform mixing.
3. Melt the PEG 1450 at a temperature of about 55" - 60 °C
4. Sit the powders onto the melted base from step 2 and thoroughly mix
5. Remove the beaker from heat, allow it to cool down for a few minutes
6. Add flavor, color and mix well
7. Pour mixture into molds and allowed to cool at room temperature.
8. Package the product in suppled accessories
