Study the diagram above. (You might also want to do a little research.) Write (this is an essay style assignment) a WELL THOUGHT OUT response comparing and contrasting the energy conversion (combustion) process that occurs in an automobile with the energy conversion process (cellular respiration) that takes place in your cells. Please make sure that you are using your own words, and not copying and pasting words from other sources. PROVIDE YOUR RESOURCES for any borrowed information. Your writing MUST include the following thought process: How can the two processes (combustion and cellular respiration) end up with the same products, but start out with different reactants?

Cellular respiration is mainly an energy-yielding iniquity process that show by all living organisms (plants, animals and microorganisms). The process includes high energy containing substances, generally carbohydrates (starch, glycogen, sucrose, glucose) or proteins or lipids that are eventually broken down, under enzymatic control, into simpler forms of lower energy content. Where as Combustion is purely a chemical process in which a substance reacts rapidly with oxygen and produce heat. The native substance for the process is called the fuel, and the spring of oxygen is called the oxidizer. During the process of combustion, new chemical substances are created from the fuel and the oxidizer. Combustion generally releases a large amount of energy in a single step, and the energy produce by this process frequently change into heat or some times into light.
